The switch also features a RED LED back light indicator that lets you know when the switch is ON and receiving power. Most electronics are never truly "OFF" and draw small amounts of current even when they are turned to the OFF position. This is called parasitic draw and is often why your battery dies even when your accessories are all turned OFF. Simply connect the accessory’s Positive (+) wire to the RED wire on the Power Plug and the accessory’s Ground (-) to the BLACK wire and you’re good to go.
